Deputies charge juvenile with shooting at Edneyville Community Center

Henderson County sheriff's deputies charged a juvenile with a shooting Monday night that left the victim in Mission Hospital with a stomach wound, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies responded to a call at 7:45 p.m. about a possible gunshot wound in the parking lot near the community center in Edneyville off Ida Rogers Drive. Once there, deputies and first responders found a victim sitting in a car with a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim was immediately taken to Mission Hospital for treatment. Deputies said there is no danger to the community.
