Playhouse taking steps to guard against coronavirus

The Flat Rock Playhouse is taking steps to ensure the public that the theater will be disinfected and hand sanitizer available for patrons.

"In light of all the news and concern regarding the coronavirus, we at Flat Rock Playhouse want to share with you some of the steps that we are taking to protect patrons against the spread of Coronavirus, as well as everyday illnesses like the common cold and flu," the theater said on Tuesday.
Hand sanitizer will be available for all patrons at the Box Office and the entrance of the theatre, and high-touch areas (door handles, railings, etc.) are being disinfected before and after each performance.
"In addition, we are monitoring the situation daily and will continue to take the recommended steps laid out by the Center for Disease Control," the Playhouse said in a news release. "We also encourage our patrons to use simple, everyday actions that protect us all from respiratory viruses, including frequent handwashing and properly covering every cough or sneeze."
