Family resource center holding drive-thru diaper pickup

The Children & Family Resource Center will hold its first drive-through distribution of diapers, wipes and infant formula from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at 851 Case Street.

Items will be distributed in a drive-through manner, maintaining a safe distance for both families and staff. The drive-through is open to all families in need in Henderson County and will continue every Friday if supplies and funds to purchase supplies are available.
Initial funds for needed supplies were made possible by grants and donations from First United Methodist Church, Henderson County Covid-19 Response Funds (United Way & Community Foundation of Henderson County,) Jeff  and Jan Egolf, members of the Cummings Cove community and the Kenmure Birthday Club.
The Children & Family Resource Center is dedicated to supporting children, families, and child care providers in our community affected by Covid-19.  Please visit the Center’s Facebook page for the most up-to-date information about the distribution and availability of items or to make a donation to assist in relief efforts, www.childrenandfamily.org/covid19resources.
