Businesses, church serving free lunch on 'Lift Your Spirit Day'

WHKP radio along with Mark White Auctions and Real Estate, Mike Gilliam Insurance, Hamilton Landscaping and Anchor Baptist Church will be serving up a free hot lunch for everyone Friday. The “lift your spirit day” meal will consist of a hot dog, hamburger, fries, cookie and a drink.

Simply stop by Mark White’s office parking lot at 223 White St. (between Kanuga Road and Greenville Highway) and the volunteers will bring the food out to you.

"It's all free and just our way to getting folks to feel a little better about the situation we find ourselves in today," said Richard Rhodes of WHKP. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. For more information call 828-693-3962 or 828-692-1170.
