Local man charged with child sexual battery

After receiving a social services report on March 5 alleging inappropriate physical contact between an adult and child, Henderson County Sheriff’s detectives opened an investigation into the complaint. 

 

After a joint investigation between the detectives and the Henderson County Department of Social Services, officers charged a 43-year-old man with indecent liberties with a minor and sexual battery. Antonio Miranda Santos was arrested on Wednesday after he surrendered without incident. Santos was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $25,000 bond.
