Sample ballots for the Nov. 3 election have been posted on the Henderson County Board of Elections website.
Besides offices of president, U.S. Senate, governor and lieutenant governor, North Carolina voters will cast ballots for the Council of State — N.C. attorney general, auditor, commissioner of agriculture, commissioner of labor, secretary of state, superintendent of public instruction and N.C. treasurer — and fill two state Supreme Court seats and five Court of Appeals seats.
Henderson County voters will elect a state senator, state House members in District 117 and District 113, one Superior Court and two District Court judgeships, fill two seats on the Board of Commissioners, elect a Clerk of Superior Court and four School Board members.
One-stop voting starts Oct. 15 and ends Oct. 31 at four locations across the county.
