The cancellation of most of the traditional activities makes a very different N.C. Apple Festival. That's true, too, for the Lightning's special Apple Festival section, which we modified to focus mainly on the U-pick orchards, roadside stands and this year's apple crop. We've also got coverage of all the activities during Saturday's Open Street Day. You've got to get a copy because it's only in the Lightning!
