Laurel Park drive raises record 1,000 pounds of food for IAM

The ninth annual Laurel Park Merchants Holiday Food Drive raised a record volume of food for Interfaith Assistance Ministry on Thursday.

Joseph Laughter of Joseph Laughter Clothier organized and led the event, which brought 1,062 pounds of food, $535 in donations and a bag of toys. Elizabeth Moss, executive director of IAM, thanked Chris Wright of Diamond Rush for helping unload donated food, broadcaster Mark Warwick for promoting the drive on WTZQ and the generous people who donated. Joseph Laughter and Elizabeth Willson Moss are pictured beside Joseph’s vintage pickup that filled up with donations.
