Carolyn Heaton Collins, 72,

Carolyn Heaton Collins, 72, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Brian Center after a period of declining health.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jody and Edna Staton Heaton. Carolyn was employed by the City of Hendersonville in the finance department for 30 years. She was a lifetime member of Tracy Grove Baptist Church. Carolyn loved life and always tried to live it to the fullest.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Heatherly, and nephew, Wayne Heatherly.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday at Tracy Grove Baptist Church with Reverend James Maybin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
