James Edward Sprinkle, 61

James Edward Sprinkle, 61, of Hendersonville, died at Pardee Hospital Monday, October 16, 2017.

He was born April 29, 1956, in Buncombe County to the late Jim and Annie Brigman Sprinkle, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Sprinkle, and a sister, Viola Ratliff.

Survivors include his wife, Lora Sprinkle; daughters Keisha Sprinkle (Bobby), of Hendersonville, Lisa Sprinkle (Justin) of Flat Rock, and Brittany Sprinkle of Hendersonville; two granddaughters, Caitlyn and Hailey Hollifield of Hendersonville; one sister, Martha Shelton of Burnsville, and three brothers, David Sprinkle and Jackie Sprinkle of Asheville, and Michael Sprinkle of Leland, North Carolina.

A military funeral service will be held Thursday, October 19, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 56 Mount Gilead Church Road, Mills Rivers, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The service will be at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Clyde Metcalf officiating. Burial will be private for immediate family.
