Stephen "Mike" Grose, 60

Stephen "Mike" Grose, 60, of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.

He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a son of the late Lucille Thompson Grose. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Rene Grose.

Mr. Grose was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He loved amateur radio and was a loving father.

He is survived by his father, Philip Homer Grose, Jr. and wife Martha; daughter, Stephanie Grose; brother, Philip H. Grose III and wife Naomi; niece, Megan Grose; nephew, Philip Grose and wife Julie; and great-niece Isabella Grose, all of Hendersonville.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Rackley officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
