Cora Isabelle Davis Dryman

Cora Isabelle Davis Dryman, born Sept. 27, 1916 in Spartanburg, S.C., received her angel wings Oct. 11, 2013.

She lived in North Carolina, Tennessee and New York City during her 97 years. She worked at Sales Biltmore Bleachery where she met and married John Augustinos. After his

death she married James Dryman. Along with her husbands she is preceeded in death by her mother, father, brother and nephew.

She is survived by three daughters, Orania Passmore, Epatia Alberson and husband Gene, Marcelle Andrews. Later Teri Norris joined our family as daughter number four because she wanted three special sisters and learn to cook southern style under mama's watchful eye. Also her love was shared with Austin Mack, son number one and Dawn Day, daughter number five. She had ten grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren.

She was a special lady who won the hearts of all she met and will leave many memories.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family wishes to express our heart felt gratitude to Dr. Randy Tryon for all the loving care he gave our mother. Thanks to all the staff of Life Care who cared so lovingly and treated her with gentle hands and warm hearts.
