Ruth Brown Mashburn, 103

HENDERSONVILLE — Ruth Brown Mashburn, 103, of Hendersonville, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Sunnybrook Assisted Living.

She was a western North Carolina native and member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David T. Mashburn Sr., three sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her son, David T. Mashburn Jr., and his wife, Mary and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Highway, Asheville NC with Rev. Wally Shamburger officiating.
