ETOWAH — Mrs. Ada Dalton Rudisail, 90, of Etowah passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Elizabeth House after a short illness.

Mrs. Rudisail was the daughter of the late Eli Jerome Dalton and Harriet Allison Dalton. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Jack" Rudisail, and 13 brothers and sisters.

Ada retired from Olin in the early 1980s after a lifetime of working there. She was always a worker whether it was at Olin, in her garden or her flower beds.

Mrs. Rudisail is survived by her sister, Opal Parkinson; her daughter, Phyllis FitzSimons and her husband, Dunkin; son, Jack Rudisail; grandchildren, Allison Finlay and her husband, Kevin, Patrick FitzSimons and his wife, Sarah; great-granddaughter, Clara Finlay; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Bridge at Lake Pointe Landing for their wonderful care during the last two and a half years of her life, and to the caring staff of Four Seasons Elizabeth House for their support of us all during her last days and the "lunch bunch" for their love and companionship.

A funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
