William "Bill" W. Vogt

Mr. William "Bill" W. Vogt, 92, of Hendersonville died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.

Bill was a member of Fletcher Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Ralph Workman's Sabbath School Class. He was retired from Review & Herald Publishing Association in Hagerstown, Md., with 42 years of service. Bill enjoyed traveling, working on the lawn and flowers, and volunteered for Park Ridge Hospital. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John Floyd, Carl, and Robert.

Mr. Vogt is survived by his wife of 70 years, June Vogt, sisters, Pauline Templeman of Hendersonville, Shirley Schmachtenberg and husband, Dick of Leonardtown, Md., and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
