Fannie Elizabeth Vanhoy, 74

Fannie Elizabeth Vanhoy, 74, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Swaney Vanhoy, siblings, James Vanhoy and his wife Tina, Edward Vanhoy and his wife Louise, J.D. Vanhoy, David Vanhoy, Melvin Vanhoy and his wife Louise and Rosie Tucker and her husband Bud.

She liked to sew, woodworking and picking apples.

She is survived by a son, John Vanhoy and his wife Renee of Hendersonville; a daughter, Jane Plowman of Lufkin, Texas, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of Fannie's life will be held from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Fannie's Home, 95 Christy Ann Lane, Hendersonville.
