Lucyanne Staley, 91

Lucyanne Staley, 91, of Hendersonville, beloved mother, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Carolina Village following a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Lakewood, Ohio, and a daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Isham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Charles Staley, Jr. who died in 2000; and her daughter, Daphne Staley who died in September 2013.

She was a graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh, where she had formal training as a singer and developed her lifelong love of music.

She is survived by her children, Craig Staley and his wife Deborah of Springfield, Ill., Brad Staley of Boca Raton, Fla., and Valerie Staley of Puyallup, Wash..

A private memorial service is planned among her children.
