Joe King Mace, Jr., 72

Joe King Mace, Jr., 72, of Horseshoe died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Elizabeth House.

Mr. Mace was born Nov. 23, 1941, to the late Joe King Mace Sr. and the late Julian Estelle Blackwell Mace. He was a veteran of the US Army, and worked in the plumbing trade.

He is survived by a daughter Jodi Ann Mace and one granddaughter.

Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, with the Rev. Paul Ray officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Open Arms Crisis Pregnancy Center 329 N. Washington St. Hendersonville, NC 28739-4311.
