Cecilia "Dinkie" McElrath Jackson, 56

Cecilia "Dinkie" McElrath Jackson, 56, of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014.

She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a daughter of Cecilia McElrath and the late Don McElrath. Dinkie was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony.

She worked as a supervisor while employed by Haynes International for 34 years. Dinkie was a devoted friend and loved her work and co-workers. She left this world a better place than when she arrived.

She is survived her parents, Allen and Cecilia McElrath; brothers, Patrick and Jason McElrath; sister, Donna Schultz and husband Tony; niece, Tollie Schultz; and many lifelong friends of Henderson County.

A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Stepp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
