U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows will deliver the keynote address and local Republicans will hear from three U.S. Senate candidates and members of the county's legislative delegation during the party's annual convention on Saturday at the Opportunity House.
The convention begins at 10 a.m. and is followed by the annual Lincoln-Reagan fundraising luncheon.
U.S. Senate candidate and current state House Speaker Thom Tillis will address the convention before lunch; candidates Ted Alexander and Greg Brannon will speak during the luncheon.
State Rep. Chris Whitmire, state Sen. Tom Apodaca and Henderson County Commission Chairman Charlie Messer also will offer brief remarks.
