Rumbling Bald Resort announces new golf pro

LAKE LURE — Rumbling Bald Resort announced that it has hired Adam Bowles as its new head golf pro.

A 2001 graduate of High Point University with a degree in sports management, Bowles began his career in the golf industry in 2002 as assistant pro at Briar Creek in Raleigh. In 2005, Adam moved back to High Point and continued his career as the head golf professional at the Willow Creek Course at High Point Country Club. He joins Rumbling Bald Resort after most recently holding the position of director of golf at Meadowlands Golf Club, a semi-private course located in Winston Salem. Bowles became a member of the PGA of America in 2009.

A passionate golfer, Adam’s teaching philosophy involves analyzing each golfer’s swing as if it were his own. He believes strongly in helping people maximize their own abilities and growing their enjoyment of the game. Adam brings a wealth of proficiency not only as an instructor but as a developer and director of new programs and membership. Already stepping in to his position with great enthusiasm, Adam is excited to revitalize the membership, create exciting new programs for resort guests, and to ensure that all customers receive a superior level of customer service.

When not on the golf course, he spends his time with wife, Chasity, 3-year-old daughter, Avery, and 1-year-old son, Jack.
