Sheriff Griffin endorses Hensley for mayor

Henderson County Sheriff Lowell Griffin has officially endorsed Jennifer Hensley in her campaign for mayor of Hendersonville, citing her leadership, commitment to public safety and dedication to serving the community.

"Receiving Sheriff Griffin's endorsement is truly an honor," Hensley said in a news release announcing the endorsement. "Our law enforcement officers work tirelessly to keep Henderson County safe, and I deeply value the partnership between the city of Hendersonville and the Henderson County Sheriff's Office. I am grateful for Sheriff Griffin's confidence and support."
Hensley, who currently serves as mayor pro tem, has served on the Hendersonville City Council for the past six years. She said she has consistently supported investments in public safety, first responders, and collaborative efforts that strengthen the community.
"Public safety will always remain one of my highest priorities," she said. "I look forward to continuing to work alongside our law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, and community partners to ensure Hendersonville remains a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and raise a family."
Griffin's endorsement adds to Hensley's growing support from community leaders who recognize her experience, collaborative leadership style and long-standing commitment to Hendersonville, her campaign said.
