Meadows gets spot at Trump rally

As an early supporter of Ted Cruz's candidacy for president, U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows was no fan of Donald Trump.

All is forgiven now. Meadows has made a firm commitment to support the Republican nominee and he gets a high profile shot at emphasizing that tonight. Meadows is one of two House members who will speak at a Trump-Pence rally in Winston-Salem. The 11th District Republican and U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx each have brief remarks. U.S. Sen. Richard Burr is giving the welcome and Gov. Pat McCrory is slated to introduce Pence.
