Jackson Loop Road man charged with statutory rape

After conducting an investigation involving a runaway juvenile, detectives with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit charged a 20-year-old man with statutory rape.

Deuties charged Adrian Joel Torres, of Jackson Loop Road off Upward Road, with one misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one felony count of statutory rape, the sheriff's office said. Torres was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $65,500 bond.
