Developer seeks OK to build homes and apartments on North Main Street

City planners will host a neighborhood compatibility meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, at City Hall to provide information on a developer's request to build a mix of single-family homes and apartments on 17.46 acres on North Main Street at Baldwin Road.

Michael Goforth of High Country Engineering, and the applicant First Victory Construction Inc. filed a request to rezone three parcels from Planned Commercial Development to Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District for the construction of a housing development. A site plan shows a total of 71 single-family lots and four apartment buildings. Hickory Reality Fund LLC of Carbondale, Colorado, owns the land, which is valued on the tax books at $511,600.
