Music of Queen will rock you at WHHS stadium

The Music of Queen is coming to a new venue perfect for summertime jamming — West Henderson High School's athletic stadium, Johnson Field.

Flat Rock opened its 2020 season with The Music of Queen, the most successful Music on the Rock concert the theatre has produced. Days later, the first lockdown orders canceled the 2020 season and continued precautions have kept the theater dark this year.

Returning to perform the music of this legendary band in the one-night only show at 8 p.m. Aug. 14 are Flat Rock favorites Dustin Brayley, Nat Zegree, Eric Anthony, Ryan Guerra, Paul Babelay and Ryan Dunn.

With food trucks, corn-hole, jumbo screens, and plenty of seating for friends and family, you can rock out to the inspiring anthems that never get old. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, and are $20 to $65 ($10 for those 18 and under) based on various sections.

“You’ll buy a ticket for a certain section and then it’s first come first served,” Playhouse artistic director Lisa K. Bryant said. “We’re anticipating tons of (box office) traffic. We expect them to go fast.” The stadium seats about 2,300 people for a concert. For tickets visit or call 693-0731.
