Health care employers holding job fair Tuesday

Mountain Area Workforce Development in partnership with the Health Sciences Department of Blue Ridge Community College, is holding a job fair from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for healthcare employers with locations in Henderson County that are offering direct-hire employment opportunities.

This job fair will be on the third floor at the Health Sciences Center, 805 Sixth Avenue West. The job fair is open to all job seekers. Employers have openings for registered nurses, physician assistants, nurse aids, medication aids, surgical techs and medical assistants, EMT/Paramedics and other healthcare positions.

Approximately 80 Blue Ridge Community College students will be on site during this time along with job seekers from the surrounding area.
Participating employers include Premier Home Health Care, Advent Health, Choice Health Management Services, FastMed Urgent Care, MAHEC, Acts Home Health, Mountain Home Health, Pardee UNC Healthcare, Davita Dialysis, Carolina Village, Always Best Care Senior Services and Range Urgent Care.
