Pardee reports first baby of New Year

Pardee Hospital reported the first baby of 2013 was born early today.

Irwin Uriel Mejia-Vazquez was born at 3:21 a.m. on New Year's Day to become Henderson County's first 2013 New Year's baby. He weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces and was born to Laura Vazquez and Hector Meji.
