Meritor plans to add 40 jobs paying $55,000 a year

Meritor plans a $41.4 million investment in equipment that will enable it to create 40 news jobs paying $55,000 a year, the Henderson County Board of Commissioners was told.

Commissioners authorized $729,941 over five years in economic development incentives. The company makes axles for tractor-trailers.
