Chili chefs to compete

The Fletcher Parks & Recreation Department will host the 12th annual Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Veritas Christian Academy from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Local chefs will be judged in the following categories: Best Overall, Best Individual, Best Business, Best Table decoration and People's Choice. Entries will be accepted until Jan. 10.
The public is invited to come out and taste all the great chili. A $5 donation may be made at the door to help offset event expenses. Contact Chris Wiener at 828-687-0751 for more information.
