TRACKING ARP: Laurel Park

The Town of Laurel Park will use all of the $743,000 it received from the American Rescue Plan to repair and replace culverts in town.
“We are going to use every bit of it,” Town Manager Alex Carmichael said.
The town hopes to use the ARP money to repair or replace 79 culverts.
The ARP money is supplementing the town council’s commitment to spend close to $2 million to improve its 35 miles of roads. The investment will help to replace outdated stormwater drainage that is undermining the city-owned roads.
