Fifth Avenue to be closed for parking deck work
Fifth Avenue West between North Church Street and Wall Street is scheduled to be closed from Aug. 19 through Sept. 1 as construction of the city's new parking deck continues.
During that time the crane will be moved to Fifth Avenue to lift the final precast sections into place. To sign up for street closure notifications as well as other city of Hendersonville click here.
Although the exterior structure of the deck will be completed this fall, interior work will continue before the deck opens in early 2023. In preparation for the deck’s opening, the public is encouraged to download the ParkMobile app. The app can currently be used in city-owned and privately-owned surface lots and will be available for use on metered Main Street and avenue spaces in 2023.
