League hosts ice cream social

The Henderson County League of Women Voters will host an Apple Pie and Ice Cream Social from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at the Henderson County Community Co-op.

This will be an opportunity to meet and socialize while learning about what the League does and the various ways to get involved. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Co-op and next door at the Self-Help Credit Union. For more information, visit lwvhcnc.org.
