U.S. Rep.-elect Chuck Edwards announced Thursday that the main office for the 11th Congressional District will be located in the Grove Street Courthouse here, the same location predecessors Mark Meadows and Madison Cawthorn had used.
The office, which will open on Jan. 3, will serve constituents in the district covering southwestern North Carolina. Caseworkers and other staff will be available to assist those in need of help with federal agencies, including the VA, Social Security, immigration issues, passports and the IRS, Edwards said in a news release.
“My motto in the North Carolina Senate was ‘First in constituent services,’ and that will continue to be my and my staff’s motto serving all the citizens of Western North Carolina,” Edwards. “Hendersonville is where I started my career in small business, and where I learned the values of hard work and integrity. Those same values will be at the heart of my district office, where my staff and I will be ready to serve and advocate for anyone who needs help with federal government agencies.”
Constituents living in North Carolina’s 11th district who need assistance may contact the district office at (828) 435-7310. The address is Office of Congressman Chuck Edwards, 200 N. Grove St., Ste. 121, Hendersonville, NC, 28792.
