Farmers market celebrates Hispanic Heritage Day Saturday

The Hendersonville Farmers Market in partnership with True Ridge will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, highlighting the rich culture, traditions and contributions of the Hispanic community in a day filled with music, dance, and family-friendly activities.

Dancing, activities and more: Attendees will be treated to vibrant performances by Al Ritmo De Mi Tierra, a local dance group that brings the spirit of traditional Hispanic dances to life. The event will also feature a live clown performance and interactive activities for children, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages.

Local Vendors: In addition to the entertainment, visitors can explore the market's diverse array of vendors, including Sophia's Boutique, one of our amazing vendors offering homemade tamales and a beautiful selection of handmade Hispanic clothing and accessories. The market will also host a variety of local vendors providing fresh produce, crafts, and unique goods, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Double SNAP/EBT Dollars: Hendersonville Farmers Market, a SNAP/EBT retailer, will match dollar-for-dollar any SNAP/EBT spending at the market. SNAP/EBT shoppers can swipe their EBT card at the information booth to retrieve tokens. The tokens can then be used as cash with individual vendors for eligible items. This program is generously supported by our Farmers Market Sponsors, Friends of the Market, and Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project’s DUNCS Grant.
