City seeks input on next generation of Patton Pool, Whitmire Activity Center

The city of Hendersonville is seeking public input to help shape the future of Patton Pool and the Whitmire Activity Center, which were heavily damaged during Hurricane Helene.
City staffers and the CPL consultant team guiding renovations will host a community input drop-in opportunity 4-6 p.m.
Monday, May 19, in Kaplan Auditorium at the Henderson County Public Library, 301 N. Washington St.
Patton Pool and the Whitmire Activity Center cannot reopen without major renovation or rebuilding. The Hendersonville City Council wants to hear from the community, evaluate local needs and plan for something even better.
If you can’t attend the drop-in, you can still share your ideas through an online survey available in mid-May.
