The Village of Flat Rock will host its annual Ice Cream Social noon-4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, on the Village Hall grounds, 110 Village Center Drive, featuring music, face painting, demonstrations from the Henderson County Sheriff’s K-9 unit, fire trucks and other fun activities as well as multiple flavors of Piggy’s Ice Cream.
This year, the event includes the Pardee Mammo on the Go bus, which will offer on-site convenience and state-of-the-art 3D breast imaging with quality care from Pardee’s team of female technologists. Women wishing to take advantage of this opportunity must schedule an appointment before the event by visiting MammoOnTheGo.com. For assistance with the Mammo on the Go online form, call 828-696-4641 or 828-577-3671.
Pets are not allowed at the Ice Cream Social. Bring chairs for a more comfortable experience. There is no rain date for this event. In case of inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Village website (villageofflatrock.org) and Facebook by 10 a.m. June 7.
