NCDOT announces meeting on two Bat Cave road projects

BAT CAVE — The N.C. Department of Transportation will present information about upcoming Hurricane Helene reconstruction work of Middle Fork Road and Toms Falls Road from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at Bat Cave Fire Department.

Residents can expect to learn about timeframes for the start and completion of construction, coordination with utility agencies and roadway closures during construction. There will be no formal presentation at the meeting. NCDOT anticipates offering a contract to bidding in late July with construction starting four to six weeks later.
