Law officers charged a 27-year-old Fletcher man with eight counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor after an investigation by the Henderson County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the sheriff's office announced.
With the assistance of the Fletcher Police Department and Department of Homeland Security, the task force executed a search warrant at a residence in the town of Fletcher on Oct. 23. As a result, Tristen James Bradley was charged with the eight offenses. Bradley was arrested by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the Henderson County jail.
Under North Carolina law, a person commits the offense of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor if, knowing the character or content of the material, the person records, photographs, films, develops, or duplicates material that contains a visual representation of a minor engaged in sexual activity and distributes, transports, exhibits, receives, sells, purchases, exchanges the material. Anyone with additional information regarding Bradley was asked to contact the sheriff's office or use the submit a tip feature available on the mobile app.
