City and county offices to close for Veteran’s Day
Offices in the city of Hendersonville and Henderson County will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veteran's Day.
There will be no collection of garbage, recycling and brush in the city. Collection for Tuesday customers will be delayed by one week with collection resuming on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Holiday collection schedules are available on the city’s website at https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/publi.../garbage-collection. To report water or sewer emergencies during the holiday, call 828-697-3073.
All Henderson County local government offices and agencies, including animal services, the Henderson County Public Library, the transfer station and recycling center and the Henderson County Courthouse, also will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Delivery of emergency services will not be disrupted. All Henderson County offices and agencies and the Henderson County Courthouse will resume regular operating hours on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
