Eleven venues will host more than 40 events during the annual Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend, Thursday, April 30, through Sunday, May 3.
The weekend includes pairing dinners, barrel tastings, new releases, barbecue dinners, estate tours, live music and a wine and cider brunch.
New this year is “A Taste of Hendersonville” wine dinner on opening night April 30. Hosted by Our State magazine at Horse Shoe Farm, the dinner features local cuisine paired with wines from Henderson County’s Crest of the Blue Ridge wine region.
“We like to think of Cider, Wine and Dine Weekend as a great kickoff to North Carolina Wine Month each May,” said Michelle Owens, Visit Hendersonville’s executive director. “More than a day trip, it’s an extended weekend for exploring some of the state’s best vineyards and cideries.”

Daily events Friday through Sunday include Bluegrass & BBQ at Point Lookout Vineyards, the Barrel Room Food & Wine Experience at Marked Tree Vineyard, chocolate and wine pairings at Stone Ashe Vineyards and private table tastings at Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards.
