Blue Ridge Ringers perform pop favorites in free concerts

The Blue Ridge Ringers, a community handbell ensemble, will present its spring concert series “Pop! Go the Handbells” featuring popular music through the years at venues across the region.

Performances are scheduled at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville; 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Tryon Estates Retirement Center, Columbus; 4 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church, Flat Rock; 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Trinity View Assisted Living, Arden; 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Central United Methodist Church, Asheville; and 7 p.m. Monday, May 18, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Tryon.

The May 6 and May 13 concerts are at senior facilities where residents receive seating priority; contact the facilities to confirm public availability.
