BRCC hosts Music by the Lake on Sunday evenings

Blue Ridge Community College is inviting the public to its 2026 Music by the Lake summer concert series featuring free outdoor performances on Sunday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m.

Concerts are held on the east side of the lake, behind the Technology, Education and Development Center, 49 East Campus Drive. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnics. In the event of inclement weather, performances move indoors to the TEDC.

The schedule:

•  July 26: The Julie McConnell Jazz Quartet

•  Aug. 9: Nicholas Edward Williams

•  Aug. 16: Free Flow Band
