Rain cancels French Broad raft race

Rain has canceled the the Mayors Cup Raft Race that was scheduled for this afternoon on the French Broad River.


Elected officials from Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania counties were invited to enter teams. Citizens are encouraged to come out and cheer their community's team on to victory.
