Holiday tour showcases seven inns

The Holiday Tour of Historic Inns and Cookie Caper on Sunday features a look at seven inns all decked out for Christmas.

Homes in the tour this year include the 1891 Waverly Inn, 783 N. Main St.; 1917 Aunt Adeline's, 1314 Hyman Ave.; 1897 Claddagh Inn, 744 N. Main St.; 1896 Echo Mountain Inn, 2849 Laurel Park Avenue; 1893 Elizabeth Leigh Inn, 908 Fifth Ave. West; the 1919 Inn on Church, 201 Third Ave. West; and 1910 Pinebrook Manor, 2701 Kanuga Road.

Sponsored by the Hendersonville Historic Preservation Commission, the self-driving tour from 1 to 5 p.m. helps pay for commission projects such as historic district signs and plaques and education. Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased at the Visitors Center at 201 S. Main St. or online at hendersonvillehpc.org.
