Playhouse opens music season saluting seminal rock acts

A Tribute to Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons opens April 16 at the Playhouse Downtown.

The Flat Rock Playhouse opens its Music on the Rock series and Mainstage season this week with tribute shows of two rock 'n' roll legends.

A Tribute to Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, opening Thursday and playing through April 26, will sweep the audience back to the Sixties as they'll be "Working Our Way Back to You" with smash hits like "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Who Loves You" and "Sherry."
The Frankie Valli & Four Seasons tribute show will be performed by the Garden State Guys, who return to the Playhouse for the first time since their record-breaking engagement in 2012. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $15 - $25 and can be purchased by calling the Playhouse box office at 828-693-0731, or visiting www.flatrockplayhouse.org.

An international award-winning professional Elvis tribute artist, Edwards is one of the most sought-after performers in the business. His dynamic performance will take audiences back to the 1950s and the early years of rock n' roll, getting them "all shook up" all over again.
Throughout his career, Edwards has worked beside many of the original musicians that performed with Elvis Presley himself. He's worked with the Jordanaires, The Sweet Inspirations, DJ Fontana, Charlie Hodge and Bob Moore.
