AVL entrance to close for construction

Asheville Regional Airport's new main entrance will be temporarily closed for three to four days beginning Monday.

Weather permitting, an NCDOT contractor is scheduled to conduct half- to full-day closures of the inbound lane at the new main entrance. The work is in conjunction with the NCDOT's I-26 interchange project at Airport Road. During periods of closure, inbound traffic will be diverted to the south entrance at Fanning Bridge Road. Traffic will exit through the new main entrance as normal.
