Brevard chamber endorses Ecusta Trail

The Board of Directors of the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce has endorsed the Ecusta Trail, saying the proposed greenway would be an economic development asset.

“The conversion of this rail line for the use of a hiking and biking trail supports the two main directives of the Chamber’s mission statement, which are to promote the economic well-being of the local business community and to enhance the quality of life for its residents,” the chamber said. “The Board encourages additional efforts to determine specific information that will stimulate all parties involved to move this project forward at a sustainable pace.”
