GOP sets grand opening of new headquarters

Henderson County Republicans will hold a grand opening at its new party headquarters from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Party chairman Mike Scruggs invited Republicans to drop by with their families.

"We will have free food and light beverages, and you will get to meet many Republican candidates, office holders, and your fellow Republicans who want to help," the party said in a news release.

The headquarters is at 1034-B Greenville Highway in the Brookdale Square Shopping Center a half-mile south of the Fresh Market on the Greenville Highway.
