The state has awarded St. Gerard House a $173,000 to enhance its autism treatment programs in Western North Carolina.
The grant from the Department of Health and Human Services supports St. Gerard House’s four core program areas — The Grotto Therapeutic Center, Connect: Social Skills training, Feed the Need and Family Group Night — and provides scholarship assistance to the center's deserving families.
Hendersonville-based St. Gerard House offers resources and training to families and professionals navigating the complex course of autism and provides help and hope for those in need by offering evidenced-based treatment for individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other behavioral health needs.
